The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
